(VIC, NSW, QLD) Senior Technical Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst that will take initiative and work as part of a team in growing Business Service Management (BSM) area of Identity Solutions' operations.

The person should be ITIL literate and have experience with and understanding of BMC Software product line.

The person will provide pre-sales support, implementation and post implementation help for Identity Solutions’ BSM customers; give training to customers and provide technical advice and guidance to ensure

The person is expected to undertake some internal projects which aim to improve internal business processes and efficiency.

The person will be responsible for informing colleagues and managers of latest industry trends.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Contributing to continuous process improvements
  • Assisting in project planning
  • Assisting with Service Requests and Support Requests by customers
  • Coordinating and escalating issues and requests to appropriate teams / experts, as necessary
  • Assisting customers (via email/phone/in-person) to resolve issues with applications
  • Documenting activities performed (for reporting purposes)
  • Participating in off-hours support coverage

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 3 year experience providing pre-sales and production support for BSM applications
  • Skills and experience with Windows Sever 2000 / 2003
  • Understanding of multi-tiered application technology
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts
  • Experience with administration of Active Directory and MS SQL Server
  • Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, VBScript, JavaScript, etc.) a plus
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting / problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow best practices and established business processes
